I don’t remember “not understanding” you reading Charlotte’s Web! Of course it was an important thing to - it formed the basis of my learning of English - I could understand what people said in English just couldn’t answer back after a while!!

I think that if you’ve lived somewhere then going back is never quite the same. I remember returning to Brazil …and I ‘felt’ immediately landing in Rio that I’d returned to a place that felt like ‘home’. - See my blog
